Wonga Park Wine District

The Wonga Park Wine District is located in the Yarra Valley and in centred on the suburban area of Wonga Park, Ringwood, Warrandyte, Chirnside Park, located about 29 km north-east from Melbourne's central business district. The town of Warrandyte has an interesting history which is part of the once gold-rich rolling hills east of Melbourne. Gold was first discovered in the Warrandyte area in 1851. Today Warrandyte retains a legacy of its heritage in its many historic buildings. The Warrandyte Festival is held every year in mid March, and features a parade, food, wine and shopping stalls, live music and lots of kids activities.

The Yarra Valley Wine Region includes fifteen districts : Eltham ; Shepherds Bush ; Kangaroo Ground ; Wonga Park ; Dixon Creek ; Yarra Glen ; Coldstream ; Wandin ; Gruyere ; Seville ; Badger Creek ; Woori Yallock ; Warburton ; Healesville Watsons Creek

Little Yarra Wines, VIC  Gladysdale
Little Yarra Wines was founded in 2013 from a three acre, 2009 planting of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Positioned in the hills above Gladysdale, this spectacular north-facing site is a relative newcomer to the Upper Yarra, but is the culmination of more than a decade spent growing grapes and making wine in Victoria. A recent addition to the Yarra Valley, the property was a deer farm for many years, before being converted to a mixed use farm with vineyard in 2009. The history of the farm and its livestock is captured by the stag in the Little Yarra logo.
