Greta Wine District
Greta Wine District includes the Central- Western areas of the King Valley Region near Greta, Edi, Moyhu, Meadow Creek, Whorouly,Myrrhee. The area has a strong Italian heritage and features many Italian wine varieties like sangiovese, prosecco, nebbiolo and barbera at friendly whole-family-run wineries including Pizzini, Sam Miranda, Dal Zotto Estate, and Ciavarella Wines.
The area also features outstanding local food and fabulous cafes and restaurants. There are many ways to tour the wineries, by car, via a guided tour or you can hop on your bike and pedal between the small producers filling your basket with local trout, honey, cheeses, nuts, wine and olives.You can go bushwalking in the many local nature reserves, visit the historic building and learn about the local heritage,
taste the fine dairy products at the Milawa Cheese Factory, sample local herb vinegars,
mustards and preserves at Milawa Mustards, and enjoy the fine olive products at the Olive Shop.
