The Forster and Tuncurry District includes wineries near the coast and close to these
popular holiday and business centres. Forster is a coastal town on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, about 308 km north-north-east of Sydney. It is immediately adjacent to its twin, Tuncurry, which is the smaller of the two towns. Forster is known for its stunning waters and stunning Manning Valley which boasts many farmers markets and stalls selling local produce. There is increasing interest in growing grapes in this area, particularly in the hinterland areas.
