Cedar Creek Wine District
The Cedar Creek Wine District is located in the area surrounding the small villages and
localities of Sweetmans Creek and Cedar Creek, located between Millfield and Wollombi on
Wollombi Road south-west of Cessnock in the centre of the Hunter River Valley.
The area is home to several stunning accommodation venues such as Cedar Creek
Cottages that offer bed and breakfast style places to stay adjoining the beautiful
Stonehurst Winery with its sandstone cellar door. There is a fabulous array of
wineries in the surrounding Lovedale, Pokolbin, Brock Fordwich, Lower and Upper Hunter Valley Regions. There are many other local attrctions including bushwalking, camping, 4WD and bike riding through the tranquil mountain valley.
