The Great Lakes Wine Region includes the famous Great Lakes are on the Northern Coast of New South Wales. It is a pristine natural paradise, extending along the coast from Hawks Nest in the south to Forster and Tuncurry in the north and includes the three lakes of Wallis, Smiths and Myall Lakes. This region also includes the hinterland area extending inland to Stroud, Wootton and Bulahdelah. The coastal area is much-loved as a holiday destination showcasing its magnificent coastline, fantastic beaches, charming lakes and houseboats and numerous National Parks and State Forests and beautiful mid climate - not too hot or cold. The area is just 3 hours drive from Sydney, just perfect for a weekend away. Local activities and attractions include Dolphin cruises, surfing, fishing, kayaking, yachting,
sailboarding.

picturesque countryside.
