Hunter - Mountain View Wine Region
The Mount View Wine Region in the Hunter Valley Wine Region is based on the area
surrounding the small village of Mount View and includes wineries dotted along
Mount View Road that runs from the Wollombi Road junction in Cessnock,
south west to rejoin Wollombi Road near Millfield.
This beautiful hidden mountain valley has a range of delightful bed and breafasts including Cedars Mount View and more than 6 exclusive boutique wineries. This are abounds in native animals and birds and wonderful bushwalking along the peaceful mountain trails. The wineries in this region include: Savanah Estate, Mount View Estate, Petersons Family Wines, Briar Ridge Vineyard, Tallavera Grove, and Milbrook Estate. The Mount View Wine Region adjoins the Pokolbin and Wollombi Regions and is close to the Lovedale and
Broke Fordwich Regions as well.
The mount View area is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy
touring through the wineries in the surrounding areas.
