Queanbeyan Wine District
The Queanbeyan Wine District is centred on the town Queanbeyan which has always been oddly placed right next to Canberra, but remaining very much part of New South Wales. It is located on the Queanbeyan River about 300 km south-west of Sydney and is a relaxed city and thriving city with an enthusiastic community. It is the gateway to the Southern Tablelands with its many heritage villages such as Braidwood and Bungendore.
