Lovedale - Central Wine District

The Lovedale - Central Wine District includes wineries and cellar doors in the heart of the Lovedale Wine Region in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales. The area includes wineries along Taga Road and the northern section of Lovedale Road to the New England Highway junction near Greta. There are a range of fabulous local fresh food outlets in the area and the other districts nearby and in the Pokolbin and Broke Fordwich Regions which are closeby. There is a wide range of fantastic accommodation in the area and in Branxton, Broke, Greta and the regional centre of Cessnock. May of these providers and the local visitors centres can supply maps and information about local tours that area available. Join the famous Lovedale Long Lunch that occurs during May each year. The area is close to both New Castle and Sydney and there are a variety of package tours available.

St Clements of Red Hill is a relatively new vineyard located in one of the worlds best wine producing areas, the Hunter Valley. The first wine from the estate to be bottled was a Semillion which was bottled in May 2005, followed by a Merlot and Shiraz which were rested in New American Oak Barrels and finally bottled in 2006.
