Charlestown Wine District, NSW
The Charlestown Wine District is located in the area between the northern end of Lake Macquarie and the major town of Newcastle on the Central Coast of New South Wales. It is centred on Charlestown that is located abut 10 km from Newcastle and 160 km north of Sydney. Enclosed by fabulous beautiful beaches, challenging mountains and the ocean, Charlestown is only 20 minutes' drive from all the attractions and entertainment of Newcastle and the Hunter Valley Wineries are only about 40 km away.
