The Shepherds Bush Wine District in the Yarra Valley Wine region is based on the suburb of
Shepherds Bush which are outer suburbs of Melbourne. The Shepherds Bush nature reserve
includes many walking tracks and boardwalks that meander through bushland and billabongs
in the park. Cycling is also welcome in most parts of Shepherds Bush, except in the conservation areas,
which are clearly marked. This is to minimise the disturbance of native flora and fauna in the area.
A great time to viist the area is at night and at dawn when you can hear the calls of the
many birds in the areas and see the abundant wildlife. One winery in the area is Wantirna Estate.
