Seville Wine District
The Seville Wine District includes wineries in the Yarra Valley Wine Region, about 45 km from the Melbourne CBD near the townships of Seville, Seville East, Wandin, Silvan and Yellingbo. The area has many attrctions including the Silvan Reservoir and Tesselaar Tulip Farm. It is also home to the famous Yellingbo Virgin Olive Oils. The famous green hills of Yellingbo already known for its fabulous vineyards, provide the climatic conditions and rich soils that are ideal for growing olives. Their wonderful olives are cold pressed within a six hours period of being hand picked, and all the fruit is processing in their own facility at the grove. They grow five varieties: Picual, Corregiola, Barnea, Manzanillo and Leccino. Yellingbo Gold's olive oils are deliciously fruity, creamy and buttery
oil, smooth with a lingering peppery finish.
