Murwillumbah Wine District

The Murwillumbah Wine District is centred around the picturesque township of Murwillumbah and extends to the coastal villages of Pottsville, Hastings Point and Cudgen in the stunning Tweed Valley in the Northern Rivers Wine Region of New South Wales. The rural areas are just 15 minutes from the beautiful beaches of the Tweed Coast, 40 minutes north of Byron Bay and 30 minutes south of the Gold Coast and the wineries of the Gold Coast Hinterland. The Murwillumbah area features a mild sub-tropical climate and spectacular scenery. Nearby is the beautiful majesty of Mt.Warning, and five World Heritage National Parks. The landscape surrounding Murwillumbah is delightful combination of sugar cane farms, pockets of remnant rainforests, rolling green hills charming flowing rivers, banana plantations, small village communities and hobby farms.
