Muchea Wine District
The Muchea Wine District includes vineyards and wineries in the Swan District Region, in the area
close to the townships of Muchea, Chittering and Bullsbrook, west of the Chittering Valley about
50 km North of Perth. It is the home of Neroni Wines which has a cellar door and cafe and is a popular place for travellers to enjoy in a refreshing break on their travels. Neroni Wines are best known for their fabulous varieties of sweet and dry wines. Muchea is ideally located at the junction of the Great Northern and Brand Highways offering visitors a wide range of attrctions and activities, including those in the other shire towns of Lower Chittering, Bindoon and Wannamal. Visit the John Glenn Interpretive Centre which provides visitors with details of the 1962 flight of Astronaut John Glenn over
Perth. The entire city of Perth, turned on their lights for his passing spacecraft.
Muchea has an excellent range of accommodation ranging from hotels and motels, bed and breakfast,
flats and houses and farmstay accommodation.
